Oscar graduated with honours in Economics & Politics from Essex University in UK before
starting his career at Midland International (part of HSBC Group) in the City of London on
their Graduate Development Programme. During his seven years at the bank, he acquired
experience in all areas of international banking & corporate finance; obtaining the
Chartered Institute of Banking qualifications.
After his period at HSBC, Oscar joined the Programmes Group, a fast growing marketing
business. After 13 months, he was appointed CEO of Programmes Ltd, by then the second
largest telephone marketing company in the UK; involved in large takeover bids for FTSE
Upon leaving Programmes, Oscar founded Market Capital Corp, specialising in the
financing of SME's, mainly in Italy and Europe. In this period, he successfully complete the
Securities and Futures Authority (now FSA) qualifications in corporate finance, becoming a
Registered Representative (Corporate Finance).
At Market Capital, Oscar pioneered the listing of Italian companies on the Alternative
Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange. He led the admission of the first
three Italian companies on the London Stock Exchange and other IPO's on AIM as well as
on other European growth stock markets. Other subsequent listings also included a
Chinese company in London.
After leaving Italy, Oscar developed a number of projects in West Africa; completing several
entrepreneurial Corporate/M&A transactions over the past few years. These included
founding Red Rock Mining, which had mining rights for iron ore that he subsequently sold
to a Pan-African mining company floated on AIM.
Oscar also founded Red Bunch Ventures, a company with land assets for the cultivation of
oil palm; which he went on to sell to a London based agricultural company also floated on
AIM, focused on agriculture in Africa.
Oscar has now turned his attention back to Europe with focus on emerging markets.
Mark is a Chartered
account by profession, qualifying at BDO LLP after
graduating from the University of Hull. He has
extensive corporate finance experience having
worked at a senior level at a number of reputable
institutions in the City of London.
Mark was initially a Corporate Development
Executive & Group Business Analyst at Taylor
Wimpey, the well known British property developer
and construction company. From there he moved to
The London Stock Exchange where he was a Senior
Regulatory Advisor, before becoming an Assistant
Director at Seymour Pierce; a highly respected
Broker/Nomad London Stock Exchange intermediary and
Investment Bank Ã¢ÂÂ now part of Cantor Fitzgerald. He
later progressed to be an Assistant Director,
Investment Banking at Williams de Broe, an historic
and highly prestigious British broking firm and
then to Teather & Greenwood as a Director,
Investment Banking Ã¢ÂÂ again an infamous British
broking establishment and brand in The City.
Mark then went on to become a Managing Director at
Canaccord Genuity, a large Investment Banking firm
specialising in Telecoms, Media & Technology IPOÃ¢ÂÂs,
Equity Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions
transactions. Most recently he was Head of Investor
Relations & Corporate Development at Phorm, a
global personalisation technology company that
makes content and advertising more relevant to
He has completed numerous corporate finance
transactions running into hundreds of millions of
pounds, has a wealth of experience in public market
transactions and advising companies on positioning
of investment cases to investors both in the public
and private markets.
A natural leader with 25 years experience, many at
Board level. His broad experience includes both
industry, Transactional, Execution and
Zaur completed his
Bachelor's degree at the State Economic University
in Baku, Azerbaijan; where he went on to obtain a
Master in International Relations. He is currently
completing an Executive Master in International
Finance at Amsterdam Business School, University of
Amsterdam; while progressing his financial career
at Bosphorus IPO Capital (BIPOC) and is enrolled on
the CFA Programme.
Prior to joining BIPOC, Zaur was a senior corporate
banking manager at Amsterdam Trade Bank N.V. in the
Netherlands, where he specialised in lending to
mid-sized and large corporates in EU, Russia and
CIS. Before that, Zaur was a client manager at
Credit Europe Bank N.V. in Amsterdam, specialising
in ship finance to corporates.
Whilst still in Azerbaijan, after his Master, he
worked for top 5 Azerbaijani banks (AGBank and
Unibank Commercial Bank specialised in corporate
finance and retail banking), managing a team of
analysts lending to large and blue-chip Azerbaijani
companies under terms of EBRD, IFC and ADB. Whilst
completing his first degree and thereafter, Zaur
worked for a British ship broker in Azerbaijan;
Kron Shipping (UK), before going on to achieve his
first Master degree.

Dina is a corporate banker with over 20 years experience in most sectors across
banking, including the Resources & Energy sector. She began her career in the resources
and energy (R&E) sector as Head of Financial Instruments Dept at the KEGOC (Kazakhstan
Electricity Grid). She then became Head of Treasury at Alau Transgas (the LPG transportation
and distribution company) and finally Deputy CFO of Intergas Central Asia (subsidiary of
KazTransGas, KMG Group).
In 2001, Dina joined HSBC in Kazakhstan, covering R&E, Oil & Gas (O&G) and Global Banking.
She stayed in the bank for over 10 years. At HSBC, she was Global Relationship Manager for
KazMunayGas and supported all other major state-owned corporates as Key Relationship
Manager. Her areas of remit covered, bonds, syndicated loans, M&A & lending mandates.
She also worked closely with the bank's teams in London, EMEA and Hong Kong, becoming
a Member of the Advisory Team on some projects.
In 2010, Dina joined Alfa Bank Kazakhstan as Managing Director, Corporate Banking; drawing
up and implementing the bank's strategy; leading to the bank's outstanding growth in the
corporate sector in Kazakhstan.
